As a long time customer of Debbie Chialtas, owner of Soapy Love, I’m always excited to see her latest creations. These darling soaps are the same size as a real popsicle. They have wood sticks, which make very nice handles when you have slippery hands. Soapsicles are as easy to use as a regular bar of soap and fit on most any soap dish.
Debbie is a former apparel industry professional that suddenly discovered soap making when she was pregnant with my her son, who is now 3 1/2 years old. “I got completely obsessed with it and began selling them on Etsy. The soapsicles really caught on and were chosen for the homepage several times (once on the weekend of Thanksgiving which was so lucky!). Shop owners started asking if I sold wholesale, and that is how I got started!”
“I am inspired by anything cute, sweet, colorful, fun, or quirky. My favorite brands are Kid Robot, Betsey Johnson, Stoopid Girl, and Yo Gabba Gabba (actually an awesome kids show). My best selling item is my Clearly Lovely (pic attached). It’s bright pink, has sparkly glitter, and a floating heart. Plus it smells like Raspberries!”
“My favorite experience with my profession is actually teaching others how to make glycerin soap. It’s so fun and easy, that every time I teach it feels like a party! (to see my current teaching schedule, go to http://soapylove.blogspot.com).”
“I plan to continue to offer new soapsicle designs at Soapylove as well as grow the other parts of my business: teaching; writing “Let’s Get Soapy”, a new crafting eZine for melt & pour soap making (www.letsgetsoapy.com); promoting my book which is coming out this summer; guest blogging; and spreading the word about how awesome glycerin soap is!!”

I completely agree, I noticed these cute soaps on their site and all I can think is they would make the cutest gifts for everyone! not to mention a nice gift for me too (too cute to pass up getting one for myself).

I’m a huge fan of Debbie’s soapy pops; she was the first I saw to make them on a large scale and it’s exciting to see her success and continual innovations with her cute lines. I have one of her soapy pops in my guest bathroom now – they’re total crowd pleasers!
