We all need more fiber in our diets. Breads and cereals made with whole grains are simply better for us. By replacing our usual white breads and sugary cereals with whole grains and whole wheat, you really get a healthy benefit. Whole grains aid in elimination of waste from our bodies. Whole grains also make us feel full. One piece of whole wheat bread is way more satisfying than a piece of white bread, which just leaves us feeling hungry soon after eating. You can add whole wheat to your recipes. It works in muffins, pancakes, and cookies, too. I am going to share with you two recipes with whole wheat that I feel are basically easy and taste great. One is a bread machine recipe. (You can’t get any easier than that!) The other is a delicious whole wheat pancake recipe I got from the whole wheat flour package. The honey and whole wheat give these recipes a satisfying flavor that you will enjoy.
