Must admit that for over 30 years, despite my Mother&#039;s insisting that I&#039;d love bread pudding, I wouldn&#039;t even try it! It was only recently that I was dining at a friend&#039;s house, and just because I think she&#039;s an excellent (EXCELLENT!) cook and I didn&#039;t want to be rude, I ate the dessert presented to me.

It was a chocolate-brandy bread pudding that was over the moon! Who knew!?!?!
