Happy Friday! What a fantastic Paw Print Pendant! My brother was a veterinarian for 33 years before he passed. Our family is full of animal love! Currently, we have two dogs. One is a mixed breed male that I found in a ditch when he was around 3
months old. His name is Beethoven and he will be turning 17 years young this fall. Our newest family member is an adorable Beagle that is a puppy mill rescue. Daisy is 9 months old and incredibly lovable and intelligent! We are blessed to have her because after we adopted her, we ended up having to take her to the Veterinary School Hospital/School two hours away from our home. She has an advanced case of distemper. Um, with my mini petting zoo, your comment section would be hogged if I talked about all our pets in detail, LOL! Right now we have the Pudgy Princess, who is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, four psychotic cats, and one rabbit who thinks he’s a cat.

I loooove the idea of a paw print pendant! That is sooo me.
I had an amazing kitty with me for over half my life. She passed away on Christmas day 2 years ago. She was 22. It was unbearable to not have her in my life.
So a couple of months later I adopted, from a shelter, the most cantankerous Tortie cat ever. She is wild amounts of fun. She actually fetches! She loves knocking everything off our kitchen counter. She loves giving us a “cute down.” She’ll sit in one of our office chairs and plop over all silly while we spin her. She looooves that! And we call it the “cute down.”

This is a beautiful paw pendant,I love it !! I have 4 kids(cats) who think they are kids. Rosie ,Bubba,Ebbie and Boo Bear are a family who were found by my son ,their Mom died in giving them birth ,Boo Bear must have been the last one born because he has a handicap. Rosie is the “little mommy” helping care and keeping everyone in line ,Bubba love to eat and sleep, Ebbie is my baby that wanted to be bottle fed until she was 4 months old and Boo Bear who loves everyone,loves when people visit and always ready for a hug. He loves to be held and even has to sleep with me My babies!!
Then I care for my Mom and she has 2 cats Fluffy and Rusty and 1 dog Jimmy and boy do we have fun . The cats want my attention and Jimmy want all the attention so I have to keep telling him share. These animals are funny because I will say bed time and Fluffy jumps on my Moms bed and has to keep her eyes on me ,then Rusty jumps on my left side and Jimmy on my right and they both have to be petted.(I sleep in a recliner) When the boys leave Fluffy will jump on my lap. Beautiful animals and so attached. They are all my babies and they know it.

I have a fantastic dog that i dearly love. She’s a Golden Retriever. I have owned two previous Goldens. They are such wonderful dogs, especially with the children. After my second one passed, I decided to get another dog but a different breed. I wanted something with less hair! I shopped and shopped. I went to rescue groups, shelters, and breeders. Every time i would swoon over the Goldens. Finally my daughter told me to stop fighting it – just get a Golden. So I did! My house is a fur ball but I love my Mazie!

OMG – LOVE, love, love this pawprint pendants. They are gorgeous. Well, we have our cat, Sweet Stella and she is gorgeous and our Queen at home! We actually call her “piggy” for short as she is 18 lbs!!!! I swear half of that is her hair as she’s long-haired. We adopted her from a shelter 2 years ago and she is our first pet, so yeah, she’s spoiled. We have a store here in Columbus, Ohio called “Posh Pets” and after we got Stella I ran over there and got her a collar that has her name on it is all shiny crystals!!!! What can I say, we love her. Thanks for the chance to win one of these pendants – they are FABulous!

Beautiful pendant and what appropriate timing. My cat, my love of 15 years, had to be put down 4/20 due to kidney failure. Booboo (Blue Eyes) was my constant companion and friend. She appeared on our door-step 15 years ago, apparently abandoned. Not only beautiful (white with a little orange and beautiful blue eyes), she had a wonderful, low-key disposition. Her doctor called her “voiciferous” because she talked so much. She slept behind my head on my bead on her “tinkerbell” blanket. She’d wake me up in the morning and paw the sheet alerting me to lift up the sheet and let her underneath so she could snuggle next to me. Having grown up with dogs most of my life, I never really liked or new too much about cats. But, when Booboo cam einto our life, it changed my feelings towards cats. I miss her, but know that she will be in our hearts forever. I would love to wear this pendant in her honor. Thank you.

I had a friend share this link with me. She knows how much I love animals and sparkly things…perfect combination. This day was particularly touching as I had to make the call to end the life of one of my two remaining children. I had three schnauzers. Mia we lost on august 19, 2007. She was ten. That was unexpected from a routine visit to the vet for upset tummy. Madison was sixteen and today I had to make the decision to end the live of my best friend and my eldest child.
I remember the evening that I decided I wanted to look at getting a schnauzer puppy for my life. I called a girl in Lubbock, Texas who had a little bit older female (still under a year) for sale in the newspaper. I know that ALL puppies are precious. So I wanted to avoid the trap of falling head over heels with a cute puppy. I wanted to check out a little bit older dog that would give me a little bit of insight into the breed once they had left the adorable puppy stage. The young girl understood my request and welcomed me to come look at and to meet her young female, knowing full well I would not be purchasing her older dog. She did warn me ahead of time that her female was not indicative of the breed as a whole as this particular female was a bit on the…B*$@*y side. I remember going into her apartment and her letting the small dog out of the kennel. The blur of grey fur made lighting bolt trips around the apartment, almost never even touching the ground as she zipped through the apartment with more energy than I had ever seen! After a few moments of these whirlwind passes, the little dog slowed down a bit and came over and sniffed my feet and legs, took one look at me, slowly edged her way up to my lap, crawled up into my arms, flopped over and looked up at me like “catch me…I trust you.”
It has been sixteen years since I made the decision to take that amazing little bundle of energy home with me. To Hell with the notion that I only wanted to see what a little bit older schnauzer was like. Madison as she would soon be come has never left my side…until this morning at 9:30 AM when I had to make the decision to let her leave this earth. She has been a constant companion, confidant and best friend. She has been there with me through every career change, move and ex-boyfriend…among many other emotional ups and downs. She was there with me when I lost 150 lbs…cheering me on all the while. Every bad day after work when I would storm into the house and throw my stuff around and slam doors she would wait patiently until I noticed that she was right there waiting to let me know it was ok…she still loved me! Even when I yelled at her for chewing up the corners of a book I was reading or for wetting the floor when she would get mad (oh yes…she had a temper!)she never once neglected to let me know that she loved me unconditionally and without fail. It was the toughest moment of my life last November when the vet told me that her days were limited and I would slowly start to see her quality of life go downhill…not from poor heart health as so many elderly schnauzers face…but from renal failure as her kidneys gave out and from loss of mobility from spinal problems. I came home Sunday afternoon to see her stuck underneath the BBQ pit panting and looking at me as if to say “Mommy, I need help…I can’t move.” I knew then that every rough moment I had faced before had paled in comparison as I knew it was time. I was faced with having to make the decision to take her sweet life…to watch her slowly go to sleep as she took her last breaths and to end the loss of quality that had once been a very vibrant life.
At 9:15 this morning I held her as the vets gave her a slight sedative to ease the pain of forcing a needle into her elderly and dehydrated body. I held my little girl, kissing her sweet face and telling her that mommy loved her and that I was so sorry I was having to make this decision. At 9:30 April 27, 2009 Madison passed from this world in my arms to go onto a better life. I know that someday when I leave this world, she will be there, just as she always was waiting for me as I come through the door no matter what my mood might be. Waiting to let me know that everything would be alright because she loved me and in the end…that would make up for everything that had gone wrong throughout the day.
Dear Lord, please help me to become the person that my little girl already believed me to be.

I have 5 cats, but I will tell you about 3.
Two are brother and sister. Maksimilian and Kiska were found at a vet’s office which was on the way home from a class I was taking. I had found my other cat Vladimir there in terrible condition. On my way home from this class, something told me to stop at that vets office. I found Maks and his sister Kiska curled up together not even being noticed. I asked the girl at the front desk if they’d been left there and were they okay. I was told yes they were left there and they were both okay.
I knew they weren’t, so I took them both, and I drove to MY vet immediately. Maks had a severe case of Feline Scabies and worms, and Kiska had an upper respiratory problem. I had them taken care of and took Kiska home, leaving Maks for his treatments.
They’ve been with me ever since. They are almost 2 years old now. Maks is a beautiful boy, and he’s incredibly loving. The bond he has with his sister is amazing. I can’t imagine not having stopped that day. I would never have seen them, and I hate to think what might have happened to them.
Czarina was a stray living in the apartment complex I currently live in. Her age is estimated to be 4 or 5. I was able to gain her trust and bring her inside in December of 2007. It didn’t turn out well and she got away from me one day when I opened the door. I tried again in 2008 in May. I learned a little more about integrating her into my gang and after about 5 months. It hasn’t been easy, but I think she’s learned to really like being an inside cat.
