Silk does not allow the body to breathe as well as cotton. A fact that is nothing new to most women. Well, I don’t know about you, but I love to try a new style at least once – or again, for that matter. So for me, I plan to find a sleeveless black or navy silk blouses or even dresses. The air will hit me in just the right area, and I will hopefully still feel chic and comfy.![]()
See how these celebrities make silk work for their personality and style. (Hollywood A-listers remain our biggest fashion inspirations, after all.) But of course, know your budget and where to find couture-inspired designs without gasping from a high-ticketed receipt. Some of my recommended retail outlets to visit: Target, Forever 21, Banana Republic, H&M, and Express.![]()
*FYI: Combos of silk, satin, and/or cotton may be your better bet in terms of breathing room and comfort, while still staying in sync with this hot Spring ’09 trend. ![]()
