I deem this the sexiest tankini around, as it is a full suit with cutouts surrounding the sexiest parts of a woman’s body. I’m talking about the stomach and the hips. Beware: If you do not have trim, firm abs (especially the obliques) and hips, this look shouldn’t really be a consideration. I speak from experience! Target has some great, affordable styles; and when I tried one on, I knew from the get-go that I would need to increase my sit-ups and side kicks to the 100th degree if I want to wear such a bathing suit.
So let’s admit it – Gretchen Rossi of The Real Housewives of Orange County (on Bravo) looks amazing and the epitome of a California beach babe in this image. But if you don’t fit this mold, no worries! There are specific cuts for every time of shape and size. What works for my pear shape and size 6 body? Two piece solids, with simple bottoms that have no ties or strings on the side. I want to at least appear svelte!
