Maybe it’s the economy or the trend to get back to basics. But when uber expensive, high end luxury retailers start marketing their products with expensive, simple, real wood crates, times they are a changing!
Check out the window display at Louis Vuitton on Fifth Avenue, New York City. It stopped me dead in my tracks and I had to take a closer look. The price of a LV bag, I won’t even go there. But sure enough, there they were displayed in all their big bucks glory on top of
good old fashioned raw wood crates! In fact, Louis even had his name embossed on the crates. Is it finally the end for excess spending and time to get back to basics? Count me in!
Louis Vuitton meets wood crate.
I’ll take the wood crate please!
