My dear friend just had her first baby boy and I totally know where I will be shopping for his gifts. Bundle is the latest celebrity shopping spot for fabulous baby clothes. Located in New York, of course, the store is adorable and Allison MacCullough, the owner knows how to pick just the right pieces. I had a chance to catch up with her and chat about her new store.
Dawn: What inspired you to open Bundle?
Allison: It was a combination of things; I worked in finance, but always loved fashion and children’s clothes. About a year ago, three of my close friends were expecting, and here I am in Soho with not one cute baby store to shop for gifts. So I started thinking about opening one myself. I started to do research and fell in love with the idea, and decided to go for it.
Dawn: What are some of the brands you carry?
Allison: We carry a few well known brands like Splenid, Angel Dear, along with a few unique lines like Velvet and Tweed based out of San Francisco. We carry clothing for special occasions, including detailed dressy clothing for kids. We also carry a brand called Acoustic based in New York. Many of their designs are vintage inspired for really cool New York kids up to size 14.
Dawn: Do you carry any eco-friendly brands? How well are they doing?
Allison: Yes, we do! Page Lauren does really great organic cotton pieces. They are flying out the door and the fall lines are expected to do really well. With great price points between $50- 70, we try to offer a great collection of clothing that is in the middle for trend setting moms.
Dawn: Do you have any favorite pieces for fall?

Dawn: What are you plans for the future of bundle?
Allison: I am looking forward to seeing the New York store grow, along with our online shop. The plan is within the next 2 years I’d like to open a second store either in Tribecca, uptown, or in the Hamptons. Within the next 5 years I’d like to see Bundle stores in all the locations.
