To spread words of inspiration and encouragement, Michele Conti developed Inspiretees,  a line of women’s clothing that is of exceptional quality and beauty. Michele is an accomplished seamstress who has won many awards in tailoring. She spent several years managing retail stores that specialized in bridal and upscale fashions, and worked fashion trade shows and show rooms in New York City’s renowned garment district.

A native of New Castle, PA, Michele settled in her hometown, where she began a career in public relations and marketing in the women’s consumer goods and fitness industry, dealing in sales, web development, e-commerce, video production, and direct response promotions.

Although devoted to her work, Michele never lost her love of fashion, and, as time went on, realized that it could not be squelched. After 20 years in the industry, she took a leap of faith and left her job to pursue her lifelong dream of creating original designs. “Things were a little rough at first,” says Michele, “but I knew that my faith would lead me in the right direction. Then, my friend, Nirmala, told me about a little church that she thought I would like, and it turned out to be right across the street from my house. After my first visit, I fell in love with it, and started attending services regularly, always praying for guidance.”

One Sunday, as the pastor was referring to a well-known verse about love (John 13:34), inspiration struck, and Michele went home and drew her first Inspiretees top. “When I showed it to my friend, Karen, who also happens to be the pastor’s wife, she was so excited. Karen has seen me through some very difficult times, and I consider her one of my spiritual advisors. So, when she encouraged me to run with the idea, I didn’t give it a second thought. I just ran – and never looked back!”
