ASI Marketing’s Spring 2010 private preview event, held in SoHo, allowed press to view and touch the collections of Custo Barcelona, Silvia Tcherassi, and Min Agostini.

As always, the Custo Barcelona collection was for those who want to stand out in a crowd: a vibrant rainbow of colors, fluttering fabrics, and an eye-catching mix of prints. Feather-light to the touch, the pieces conveyed a youthful, easy sexiness.

The Silvia Tcherassi collection was elegant and feminine. Dresses and separates came in soft colors such as peaches and lilacs, with some bolder pieces in yellow and turquoise. A number of pieces contained intricate ruffling that was naturally best appreciated up close.

Min Agostini’s architectural training heavily influenced her sculptural collection. The pieces were striking yet simple, structured yet light, and easy to mix and match. The muted palette of whites and metallics kept focus on the shapes.
