I know, you have champagne tastes on a beer budget. Don’t we all. Well, we here at Christopher Drummond Beauty believe that you can still be fabulous and still be efficient with your beauty dollars. Here are a few tips:

1) Multi task. Use one product for multiple uses. Saude Pele Radiance Booster for instance. A product like this can be used in many ways: as an eyeshadow base, a highlighter on the cheek bones, mix it with clear gloss to boost up the look of your lips, mix it with your moisturizer, and even mix it with your hair gel to add extra oomph! This one product has over twenty beauty uses (that we know of!!!!)

2) Create your own tinted moisturizer. Take your powder foundation (Veludo Velvet Foundation from Christopher Drummond Beauty works great) and add about a teaspoon to your facial moisturizer on the back of your hand. Mix it up. Voila! You have a tinted moisturizer made of your favorite moisturizer and your favorite foundation.

3) Use one product all over. Just because a product is labeled as an eye shadow doesn’t mean you can ONLY use it on the eyes! Try it all over: eyes, cheeks, lips…wherever you want a little color. Here’s another tip, use your shadow or blush wet, and it can become a great liner!!!

4) Powder foundation wet. I was at a shoot the other day, and realized I had NO CONCEALER. So, I improvised. I took my Veludo Velvet Foundation, added some cream to it, and it worked brilliantly as a concealer. The model never knew the difference. The great thing about powder foundation is that it is so versatile…try it!!!

5) Eye liner as Mascara. Another shoot I realized that I didn’t have mascara (how does a makeup artist not have mascara?) anyway, I took my cream eyeliner, applied it to a liner brush, and used it on the lashes. It didn’t extend the lashes, but it made them black and glossy….they looked great!

6) Mascara as eyeliner. I once needed a waterproof eyeliner, and (surprise) didn’t have it. But I DID have a waterproof mascara. I rubbed the mascara wand on my hand, took my liner brush, dipped it on my hand where the mascara was, and had a great waterproof liner!!!!!!!
