Leanne Marshall debuted her Fall 2010 collection on Sunday, February 14, 2010.  Her collection showcased her attention to detail and her love for beauty.  Rather than having the models walk down the runway to loud and abrasive music, Marshall used soft, elegant music that put the audience at ease and matched well with her elegant collection.

The skirts and dresses were very refreshing to look at.  I loved the fact that she was not afraid to use colors like blue and yellow for fall.  Often times the city can feel very drab in the fall with everyone wearing mostly blacks and browns.  A burst of color is so good to see!  The jackets and tops were feminine and perfect for any woman.

Cameras flashed frantically as the finale dress came down the catwalk.  This full length gown in a beautiful blue had a diamond cutout back with the material strategically gathered at certain spots at the bottom.  It was truly a vision.  I read one tweet from a woman who said that she wanted it to be her wedding gown.  When a woman wants a certain dress to be her wedding gown, you know it is beyond amazing! 

All of the looks were taken to the next level with amazing hair by Aveda and make-up by Beauty Society.  The shoes were provided by Nine West and complimented the clothes perfectly.  Props to Nathan Mckee for the enchanting music during the show.

Guest included press like Teen Vogue and Running with Heels, past and present Project Runway contestants, models like Summer Rayne Oaks, and many more influential fashionistas.  A majority of the guest looked very chic.  I noticed that a lot of the male guests were rocking bowties (myself included).  Refreshing cocktails and delicious mini cupcakes were served and enjoyed by all.

I am honored to have been able to see Leanne Marshalls Fall 2010 in person.  It was inspiring to see a refreshing point of view in the world of fashion.  The beauty of the clothes combined with the soft music proved very relaxing during the craziness of fashion week.

Congratulations Leanne Marshall on a successful show for Fall 2010!  We see nothing but fabulous things in the future and we already cannot wait for September.
