Tonight marked the official beginning of Toronto’s LG fashion week’s, “Power of Style”. Held in the Allstream venue – which is vastly larger than last years location – this year is sure to impress with it’s “Power of Style” theme.

It was a gloomy day on February 16th during New York Fashion Week but that did not deter the fashion community from coming out to the staple tents to view the Fall/Winter Collection debut of many well known designers. I think too often we forget the impact we have upon others.

I’m not just speaking about those we’ve established relationships with, for we certainly can have an effect on people we encounter briefly throughout our day.

How often do we smile at someone as we stroll the aisle of a grocery store?  How often do we tell the girl behind the counter, “Have a nice day,” and mean it?
