Refurbishing outdated or broken beaded jewelry is a fun and easy way to be creative while making a new, stylish signature piece. On any given day, I meet women at bead boutiques who are seeking beginner instruction on knotting pearls and how to use materials … Read More »

Seoul, Korea- Day 2 | June 30, 2010

Day 2 and up bright and early (not yet adjusted to the 13-hour ahead time difference)! I started the day off with a morning walk around Cheongdam Park in the Cheongdam-dong area of Seoul. Why Guilt Should Not Be A Part of Your Daily Life | June 29, 2010

As I sat at my daughter’s rehearsal this morning, I should have been all smiles and full of pride. But I wasn’t it. I wasn’t watching her steps and enjoying her smile. No… instead I was tense, preoccupied and frantically answering e-mails on my iPhone. Why? Well, I really didn’t have a clue that anything was the matter until the lights came up and all of the other mother’s were applauding. What?! Did I really just miss everything? As my eyes began to adjust to the bright auditorium, only one thing came to mind: Guilt. Yes, I felt guilty for … Read More »
