NGlassworks combines Dichroic, iridescent and sheet glass to create one of a kind art glass jewelry.
“Each piece is inspired by colors, shapes and patterns I’ve observed in my back yard and in my travels throughout the world”, says designer Nancy Giere. “Different sizes and shapes of glass are stacked in unique designs and fired in a kiln. During the fusing process the glass comes alive and takes on a whole new character. After the first firing each piece is cold worked and fire polished in the kiln multiple times until I’m satisfied with the overall design and quality.”
This bright bold and beautiful line of dichroic glass jewelry includes pendants, fan necklaces, earring, rings and bracelets. Each piece is a unique work of wearable art that is handcrafted by Nancy Giere at her studio in Williamsburg VA. She uses multiple layers of glass to create jewelry that has tremendous depth and substance yet they are surprisingly light weight and easy to wear.
