“Makeup Transition” Tips by Christopher Drummond:

In Summer, Aymee wears #130 “Warm”.  In Fall, she changes shades to #120 “Fair” in CDB’s Veludo Velvet Foundation

As much as we all hate to admit it, fall (and winter!) is almost here….which means we will all need to be making the big “Makeup Transition”.

Since your skin color will not be as “bronzed” as it it in the summer time, an adjustment will need to be made in your foundation color.

Tips on how to switch your makeup from Summer To Fall:

Tip 1: Go one shade lighter with foundation for the transition.  You probably won’t need it for a month or so, but it’s good to have it for when you start getting lighter.

Tip 2: Be sure to have Sol bronzer by CDB to aid in a smooth transition.  Bronzer is your best friend in the Changeover.

Tip 3: You can always blend the lighter and darker shades together as a transition.

Tip 4: With foundation, it’s always better to go a little lighter than darker.  Adjust the lightness with bronzer.

Tip 5: Use Saúde Pele Radiance booster to maintain luminosity in the skin, even when your skin is a little dull.

Tip 6: With eyeshadow, fall makeup is traditionally a little darker and sexier.  Summer is generally brighter and more colorful.  But don’t get boring!  There are great dark colors that are rich and gorgeous (Amethyst by CDB is just one to try!)

Tip 7: Lips!…Generally lip color gets richer.  Light red and burnt orange are great transition colors.
