Often times a look becomes cluttered or gaudy when we over accessorize from head to toe. Too many accessories or too many bold accessories can really kill your look. Being conscious of how you style an outfit is just as important as the outfit itself. Here are some tips that can help bring your look together without going overboard.
Select jewelry that complements your outfit. Play with color in your jewelry, but keep the look simple. Don’t feel you must wear a matching necklace, earring and bracelet set. Opt more for single pieces that reflect your personal style. Most jewelry designers create lines that are very versatile-you can mix and match pieces and create a great look.
Have a focal point-something that draws a persons eye to you. This is where the fun comes in! A bold wire wrapped beaded cuff, a stunning handbag, a sexy scarf, a cute belt, chic heels or a long dramatic earring should do the trick. But choose one and keep this simple! It’s never suggested that you load any one area of the body with too many accessories. For example, wearing large sunglasses, headband, chunky earrings and several bold necklaces.
Attitude! Accessorize with the right attitude. This is super important! Feel confident in your look. If you are not confident, it will show.
