Cooking seafood doesn’t have to be difficult.  During the summer, I love the fresh, smoky taste of marinated grilled shrimp, though it can be intimidating to grill. Your Art Here by H&M | May 16, 2011

H&M has launched their art and fashion design contest “Your Art Here.” (www.yourarthere.com).

This year, they’re giving five aspiring artists and fashion designers the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and career traction by printing their work on H&M T-shirts—which will be sold all over the US. Winning art pieces will also be exhibited in the window of H&M’s New York store (42nd Street and 5th Avenue).
In addition, the five winners will each receive a $500 H&M gift card a $2,000 stipend to support their up-and-coming art or design careers.

Hoo doesn’t love the hoop? The ancient Persians loved them…so did the Romans and yes, they even appear in The Bible! Whether gold, silver, sparkly, matte, jewelled or plastic-fantastic, clearly the hoop earring is here to stay. I’m even thinking of re-writing the classic Dr. Seuss book Horton Hears a Who!
