The most important ways to fight free radicals is to, of course, stay out of the sun and a dry environment with heat and pollution. Creating a barrier between you and nature can be done in several ways. If you plan on being in direct sun, wear sunscreen. If you wear foundation, look for foundations with additional sunscreen to add protection. Skin will wrinkle fast at an early age if it becomes dry from air, sun, or products with drying agents, such as soap. One of the worst self induced skin damage problems woman face is soap damage, the signs include oily T-zone with very enlarged pores, reddening of cheeks and chin, broken red capillaries, acne on chin, and very dry skin outside of T-zone. Always wear a heavy cream mixed with toner, 50/50, to prevent heavy feel. It will also absorb better, keeping the skin from drying out and getting pink with large oily T-zone pores, broken vessels, deep crevices and wrinkles.
Woman often have severely dry skin, they often treat the oily T-zone with oil, further causing dry problems. Protect the eye area from scrubbing, sun, and dryness with eye creams. There is a huge difference in my clients with a good skin care routine, and those that are uneducated with a not so good routine. Those with a better routine have smoother skin, less wrinkles, less hyper pigmentation browning of the skin, and smaller pores. You can reduce and reverse some damage by starting an educated routine today. Just keep a barrier between your skin, the environment, and sun. Be sure a drink plenty of water for hydrating the skin, eat foods high in vitamin C to help the skin stay firm, and produce plenty of collagen to prevent sagging skin.
Christine Reimers-Walter born in 1971, in Frankfurt Germany, currently resides in South Beach Miami, Washington State, and Los Angeles. “My love of fashion started like most girls at a early age. I wanted to create my own cosmetic line, the best! I knew I would need to interview as many women as possible, and get to know what was hot as far as formulations for cosmetics. I would have to go to the public.”
In her early years Christine signed on to work in well-known department stores such as Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue in the 1980′s. During the next 15 years Christine held many positions within the top five cosmetic companies as make up artist. During this time period Christine was able to perform thousands of makeovers on women. She became very familiar with women struggling with skin conditions, frustration with make up textures, and the feel of makeup on the skin. Yet, she also new what the women loved, what worked, and why!
In 2003, after building a lucrative real estate empire with her husband, Christine took time out to create her Rich Girl Cosmetic line. In six years Christine débuted her cosmetic line in a trunk show at Henri Bendel’s New York on Fifth Avenue. Rich Girl has been featured in numerous fashion magazines, television shows, movies, worked with 20th Century Fox, fashion Week, MTV awards, B.E.T, Cannes Film Festival, Grammy’s, Golden Globes, VH1, Super bowl, Ocean Drive Magazine, and many others. Rich Girl has been used on Playboy covers, Mariah Carey, Salt N Pepa, Star Jones, Kim Catrell, and Lenny Kravitz, to name a few.
During her six years of creating, Christine decided that she wanted to encompass a massive sized cosmetic line to satisfy every want of both women and men, with any product for any need! In doing so, she created three cosmetic lines, with three price points, and those three being based on ingredients, texture, and budget. “I wanted a woman to walk in and have anything she could imagine all in one line and be 100% satisfied!” Christine was solely responsible for every formula and color range.
“The Collection” line is the caviar of make up, using only the most coveted ingredients such as Gold, Diamonds, Kasmere. The RG Mineral Make up line is for the girls who love natural beauty. Rich Girl Hollywood Glam holds a traditional make up artists dream, with a wide range of make up colors and products. All made from the opinions of the thousands of women.
Christine did not stop there! She realized that skin care is the basis for make up to look it’s best. “Often in the early days I found that woman were suffering with skin conditions that would prevent make up from working properly. I felt the need to fix the skin first so the woman would be happy. I found a important synergy between skin conditions and make up application.”
So Christine created the massive skin care lines. Rich Girl Skin Care, for every skin type and need. Also, Rich Girl Botanicals is 100% natural Organic for every skin type. And ‘Rich Man’ was the first massive skin care line for men, based on women’s skin care for all skin types. “Men were secretly buying the woman’s skin care for years over men’s products. Now they can have all skin types in Men’s packaging.”
Christine is also beauty editor for LMS magazine, working on photo shoots and television appearances. Rich Girl is the hottest skin care line, and quickly becoming a staple for celebrities and Emmy award winning make up artists worldwide. Christine’s goal is to satisfy the customer, so they get what they want and not what they are told! She continues to teach and educate woman around the world about make up.
“Listen to what woman want, make the product right, the woman will be loyal.”
