Glass Pumpkin Patch

On October 8, 9 & 10 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the grounds of La Nebbia Winery will be transformed into a glistening glass pumpkin patch featuring the work of artist and glass blower Douglass C. Brown, owner of Colquhoun Glass Works. This artistic installation will feature a large selection of one-of-a-kind glass pumpkins available for purchase. For those who prefer a more hands-on experience, Brown offers glass blowing classes where visitors can create their own pumpkins. Posh Pumpkins

Pumpkin Poster Art

Local artist Ellen Joseph has created the official Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival Commemorative Poster for 2011. On September 27 from 5-7 p.m., the Ellen Joseph Gallery will host a preview party to showcase this original painting that displays a sweeping panoramic view of the coast near Purisima Creek Canyon with Bob’s Pumpkin Patch and farm in the foreground.  The original painting and reproductions will be on exhibit at the Art & Pumpkin Festival as well as at the Ellen Joseph Gallery & Studio. 840 Main Street, (650) 728-7518, www.ellenjoseph.com.
