Glass Pumpkin Patch
On October 8, 9 & 10 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the grounds of La Nebbia Winery will be transformed into a glistening glass pumpkin patch featuring the work of artist and glass blower Douglass C. Brown, owner of Colquhoun Glass Works. This artistic installation will feature a large selection of one-of-a-kind glass pumpkins available for purchase. For those who prefer a more hands-on experience, Brown offers glass blowing classes where visitors can create their own pumpkins. Pumpkin Poster Art
Local artist Ellen Joseph has created the official Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival Commemorative Poster for 2011. On September 27 from 5-7 p.m., the Ellen Joseph Gallery will host a preview party to showcase this original painting that displays a sweeping panoramic view of the coast near Purisima Creek Canyon with Bob’s Pumpkin Patch and farm in the foreground.
