On Wednesday, February 8th 2012, Dr. Martens launched the second half of their #FIRSTANDFOREVER campaign, “First Love”, in the form of a photography and film premiere at the Dr. Martens Store at 391 Queen St. W. in the heart of downtown Toronto.
The “First Love” film, featuring Agyness Deyn and Ash Stymest, was shown alongside a series of curated “First Love” images. In addition, Dr. Martens Spring/Summer 2012 footwear collection was displayed giving guests a sneak peak of what’s to come.
Notable guests included: The Airplane Boys, Hollerado, Tokyo Police Club, Buck 65, Diamond Rings, Ivana Santilli, Degrassi actors, Elise LeGrow, Toronto Argonauts, Much Music & MTV Canada VJs, 1 Girl 5 Gays cast members, and of course, our bloggers! Blogs from coast to coast took part including: Marcus Troy, Beckerman Bite Plate, A Haute Mess, Chick Advisor, Corduroy, f-list, Fashionights, FASHIONOTES, Final Fashion, Freshly Educated Men, Jay Strut, Lainey Gossip, Little Fashionisto, PinkMafia, Proprpostur, She Does The City, Style Blog, Textstyles, The Anthology, The F Word Online, Toronto Is Fashion, Truth of a Liar, and Urbanebloc.
