Looking for a new marinate for your ribs. Try this recipe for tomorrow night’s dinner that your husband will love.
Royal Glaze BBQ Ribs
Ingredients:
1/4 tsp Thyme
1/4 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Allspice
8-15 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Bayon Cajun Seasoning
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 green onions cut into small pieces
1/2 cup Sonny’s BBQ Sauce
1/4 grated orange zest
1 Bottle of Guinness stout 8-20 tsp
2 cups water
1 ziploc bag
3lb Pork ribs
Directions:
1. Purchase pork ribs, wash and cut along rib bone.
2. In ziploc bag add Thyme, Cumin, Allspice, Worcestershire sauce, Guinness stout, Black pepper, Crush red pepper, Bayon Cajun seasoning, Salt, Garlic, Green Onions, ¼ tsp of orange zest, ½ tsp of grated ginger, and water. There should be enough liquid to cover ribs.
Note: Add Ingredients to taste. You can taste mixture to see if you need more or less spices before adding Ribs.
3. Add ribs to bag and let it marinate overnight.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place ribs into a butter based baking dish, add 3-8 tsp 15ml of water and cover with foil. Bake for 1.5 hours. Remove foil and bake for additional 20-45 minutes or until cock.
5. For the Glaze – In a separate dish add ¼ tsp of grated Ginger, ½ cup of Sonny’s BBQ Sauce, squeezes ½ tsp of orange juice, and ¼ tsp orange zest. Max and brush mixture onto ribs, bake for anther 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Add more orange zest and ginger if needs be. Garnish and serve.
