This fall, one of the biggest trends to hit the runways is leopard print. Just about everywhere you turn you’ll see this print on most sweaters, hosiery, shoes, pants, and much more.

Not wanting to look like a leopard myself, and decidedly admiring the trend in smaller doses as I find it’s much more chic that way. As a result, I’m eyeing more key accessories pieces to play with this delicious print.

I found this calf hair clutch by Michael Kors on Netaporter.com – I think it’s splendid! To me, it’s the perfect sized clutch – allowing you to stuff the many things women have in their purses, while leaving few things behind. The shape and structure of it is perfect, and I love that the print goes right over the handles. Amazing.

Best part – this clutch is only $350 – an investment piece, but one that will go the mileage without completely breaking the bank (as some other designers handbags go for thousands more).

Yesterday I received a package in the mail from the company, “Make Up Forever”. The company was kind enough to send me some samples of their new lipstick line that has just been released in Sephora stores and The Bay.

Being a huge fan of lipstick (and anything to do with makeup really) – I immediately tried the various shades on. What I loved was how smooth both of the satin shades – #22 and #37 were (pictured above). Effortless and smooth in putting them on, and completely saturated with colour, I was instantly hooked. I can see why this makeup line was a favorite at Toronto’s LG fashion week.

What I thought was also brilliant is that the company provides a colour wheel to help consumers find the right shade for their skin tone and hair colour – a huge challenge for many women!

This lipstick retails at $22.00 CND. Their lipsticks comes in a variety of different shades – all saturated in the most gorgeous colours. Love them!

I would know. I do it on the regular.

I was recently delighted to hear about the line 442 McAdam – a handbag line done in the most divine leathers in a variety of colours and shapes to suit the many needs and moods a fashionista would need. They were kind enough to send me a sneak peak of their fall/winter 2010 collection. Here is a peak of two types of their handbags:

It’s designer, Sarah Shell is no stranger to the fashion industry as she has spent much of her time with other seasoned pros such as Catharine Malandrino, Yigal Azrouel, and BCBG Max Azria, for a number of seasons of New York Fashion Week shows. She’s also had the pleasure of designing for Club Monaco. So, it’s only natural that she’d want to strike out on her own and create her own line.

Currently inspired by Eastern Europe’s bohemian culture for her fall line, Sarah wanted to have purses that could transition for day to evening. Her collections demonstrate this ease, as the the straps, made with authentic rifle slings can detach. Her Marsha and Chappy handbags are my favorites of the collection.
