January has been unseasonably warm in Oklahoma.  I keep waiting for the proverbial shoe to drop and we get hit with the ice storm of the century.  Can’t say I miss the 11 days stuck inside working from home that I dealt with last year!

Our offices have been buzzing since the ball dropped!  Our new staff and interns have creativity, innovative ideas and drive!  Our business venture with Hearst Corporation  and others in the works have made it quite fun to come to work each day.

Readers emailed, left comments on our Facebook page and sent us Tweets letting us know their favorite subjects on Chic Galleria.  I promise WE HEARD YOU and WE”RE LISTENING!  We took a good hard look at our analytics and realized that we had three strong sections where readers were visiting and interacting.

We’ve decided to shift our focus primarily to STYLE, FOOD and SHOP offering you what you asked for!  We’ve also decided to get on the bandwagon when it comes to Twitter hashtags and streamlined content.  We’ll highlight Monday with Manic outfit suggestions, Makeup features and Meatless recipes.  Tuesday will include Trendy or Tailored outfit suggestions and Tasty Main Course recipes. On Wednesday, we have Chic Street Style photos and savory soup and stew recipes.  Thursday will highlight salads, sides and beginning and we’ll offer you suggestions on how to Shop Your Closet.  We’ll round out Friday with yummy dessert recipes and TGIF weekend style.  Our SHOP section will offer up our favorite products and things we particularly think are “must have” items.

I want to thank each of you for reading Chic Galleria magazine and for sharing it with your friends. I strive everyday to keep you in mind with every article, photo, advertisement, product feature and video I proof and schedule for publishing.     Hey Beth
    Why not consider me to write an advice column for your women readers. All of the women’s mags have women as advice writers. Sort of like Sex in The City where Carrie was clueless about men and went to her gal pals for advice who were equally clueless. Asking a woman about a problem with a man is like a guy asking his buddies on what it feels like for a woman to be pregnant.

    For the record, I am a resident expert on the sites: yahooanswers.com as well as advice.lovedetour.com.

    You could set your mag apart by featuring me as an advice columnist.
