Perfume Creator Focuses On Honoring Women

joy.jpgA package arrived from New Zealand filled with the most luxurious, romantic, subtle smelling perfumes and was instantly hooked.  These wonder bottles are from èst perfumes.  Launched in January 2008 and based in Cambridge, New Zealand, Rob Aston has set about creating perfume that is natural, healthy, elegant, simple to use, romantic, fun to wear - with a bit of class. Rob is the owner and artist of èst handcrafted perfumes.

In my package, I received Jasmine Nite,  a beautiful combination of Vanilla and Jasmine essential oils; Musk My Man and Honeysuckle Honey, with coconut and honeysuckle fragrance. Each special in their own way, I was drawn to the Jasmine Nite. Rob says Jasmine Nite is "for the irresistible and pivotal woman...and the beloved."

Rob has distributed perfumes to Germany, China, Norway, Cape Town, England, Sweden, Brazil, Dubai and the United States. The elite niche of glamorous and well-connected women is Rob's vision. "As opposed to the dangerous and hidden ingredients in brand perfumes, ours are Natural, Non-toxic, Non-Alcohol, Preservative-Free and Romantic. They are delicate, friendly and fabulous," says Rob.

"It was during a routine day in my home, that I picked up a book on Aromatherapy. "This is good" I said, and read cover to cover...twice! Then I rushed into the garden, collecting snips of rose, lavender, rosemary and citrus. It wasn't long before I discovered that I need 1000 rose
petals to make 1 once of rose oil! I ordered some rose oil in. My next step was to take the essential oils and make perfume. Over the next two months I perfected, with some heartache, 12 beautiful perfumes - each unique and totally gorgeous. The women who have late discovered these can't keep their hands off me...seriously they are so in love with the perfumes."

"Wanting to sound French and "easy to remember", the term est was coined. A friend mentioned the link to the word esteem and I was hooked. Our little group of three ran with this term, not the least did it wrap up the idea of perfume to honor women, focusing on loving them as beautiful people. This contrasted well with the overdone promotion of perfume to achieve status, image and sex appeal. The big boys of perfume, such as Estee Lauder and Channel will come unstuck as women are already special, already beautiful, and already irresistible. Perhaps perfume wearers are going over to things natural as well. Say hello to est perfumes...ha!"

Picture 6.jpgIt is clear to Rob that "a woman's need and enjoyment of love is universal. Women ARE the best - the rib that protects the heart. Amazing but true, women throughout the world touch cheeks, such a pretty display of the relationship. The embrace of caring is universal." Rob says, "Love waits, waiting is important. Each bottle is like a butterfly, when the time is right, she emerges."
