The holidays are great time to make a statement and fancy up your look (or even cover up a bad haircut!). Of course, as you try on the hat, be sure to really love this look. It's definitely a make-it or break-it type of accessory. And if it is your first time meeting the in-laws, you may want to stick with what you feel comfortable with!
In addition to scouting out your local vintage shops, here are a few retails outlets that carry great renditions of this trend:
* JCPenney ($40 - $55)
* Banana Republic ($40 - $62)

This is one look I'm just not keen on. I don't know if it is that I'm not prepared to see good looking young men wearing fedoras or what the hang up is that I have. I am accustomed to seeing my grandfather's generation in hats. I suppose I like the look better when its streamlining a dressed up look, rather than covering dirty hair and complemented by a scruffy face, jeans, and whatever else. That I don't like.
I don't know, I'll have to see if this look grows on me.
Thanks for reading Casey. I definitely think this is a love it or hate it look, because it's such a dramatic statement. Funny how we all have different styles of what we like; I like how it looks when it's casual and covering the dirty hair, because I think it actually ups the look a bit. Dresses it up, instead of a beanie or sports cap!
I am especially fasinated with vintage hats for women. I think Keith Ledger pulls it off the best.
i wear the new modern fedora i think it looks awesome and stylish with a nice polo or stylish button up shirt
