Shop | EmerginC – Multi-Fruit Cleanser

I received this in the mail and absolutely love EmerginC‘s Multi-Fruit Cleanser. If you have sensitive skin like me, you’ll love this product. I am always hesitant to try new face products because I don’t want a red face the next day. So first, try a little of the product right below your ear by your jaw line on your face. It’s one place that isn’t quite noticeable if you get some redness.

Well, I tried the product first on that area and viola, no rash! So I used the rest of the cleanser on my face and loved it! It … Read More »

Style | Trendy Tuesday: 1 Dress, 2 Blazers to choose from

Your best buy this Spring would be to get a dress that you can wear with everything else you already have in your closet. A dress in nude or any neutral color will go well with any color blazer, cardigan and heel. Just like how our jeans have great value and can be paired with anything, let’s make sure some of our dresses do the same. Here are two different outfit ideas that share the same dress and the same necklace. You could even take this idea a little further and turn this dress from day to night with the … Read More »

Eloise Lapidus, daughter of famous French fashion designer Ted Lapidus, has now introduced her own line of beautiful, simple and chic apparel known as BoBo House. Her alluring collection is now available in LA’s in-vogue boutique Satine. Eloise integrates LA and Parisian styles, a very unique and fresh combination. Body & Mind | Beauty Industry Giants with Homegrown Organic Skin Care Line

Drive down main street and you quickly get the feeling that this town might very well be the one that time forgot. The decaying storefronts are mostly boarded up, the outlying factories have long since closed their doors. ‘Welcome to Andrews… home of Chubby Checker’ the rusted green sign welcomes the few that drive through… yes it’s the most unlikely place to find the next luxury skin care company.

But in the eyes of mompreneur, Corene Hejl-Edgeworth, Andrews is the perfect place to find the uncommon life she’s pursuing. Somewhere between dance lessons, art projects and homemade stuffed cabbage she found … Read More »

Arts & Entertainment | A Tour of Singapore

I would love to visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens. The gardens make up seven acres of land and consist of an array of trees, flowers, and fauna from around the world. Three lakes provide perfect spots for picnics or relaxing walks.

Thinking about the beauty makes me want to hop on a flight to Singapore. And, really, there is so much to do there that I just might!

There are many other cultural opportunities: The Asian Civilisations Museum, one of the best museums in Singapore, has amazing artifacts from Asian countries. Learn about the history of China, India, Malaysia and Singapore.

The recently … Read More »

Arts & Entertainment | Classic Crete

If you want to truly see history, consider a trip to Crete.

The Palace of Knossos, a labyrinth of massive columns and beautiful frescoes, is the legacy of the sophisticated Minoan civilization that disappeared sometime in the 15th century BCE. It was also home to the mythical Minotaur of King Minos, according to legend.

The site was restored extensively by the famous archaeologist Arthur Evans in the early 1900s and remains a great tourist attraction for the island.

It’s not all about the history though. The diverse nature also awaits you on a Crete holiday.

The Botanical Park provides a lovely tour of the … Read More »

Arts & Entertainment | Peruse Portugal

I would love to spend a romantic evening at Cape St. Vincent. The sunsets are supposed to be the most beautiful thing ever, and the rocky coast rising 60 meters above the sea would be the best viewpoint.

This time of year I’m always looking for cheap holiday deals.  To get the landscape I want to see for a low price, Portugal is my land of choice!

The Azores, a set of nine islands, is filled of flower-clad fields, verdant valleys, and lovely villages. A great place to relax and get swept up in nature.

If you’re looking to see some history, Evora … Read More »

Beth Anderson | Building Your Wardrobe with Neutrals

With the pending Oklahoma heat and numerous daytime events to attend this month, I’ve got to have things in my closet that are neutral.  I find that having plenty of neutral statement pieces makes it easy to dress appropriately for a luncheon, client consultation or a business meeting with my Public Relations Director.  Building out from a neutral colored dress is super easy with some great accessories.  Here I’m showing you calm with a slant on the safari theme that is so big this Spring. a.k.a Michael Kors.  Obviously you can change the whole look with a bright bag, scarf … Read More »
