New York City mothers and expectant moms who want to widen their social circle can enjoy regular activities organized by Big City Moms, which was founded by two sisters (and mothers!). Events include lunches and classes; kids are invited to storytellings and gym outings. In addition to planning events, the BCM site offers its latest picks in nutrition, gear, and local photographers who specialize in children and families. Participants are celebrated with "Mom of the Month" and kids are spotlighted with "Cutest Kid of the Week."
