Well I can sum up my opinion of that concert in one word---AMAZING!!! The first act was a group of 4 boys out of New York called Honors Society. I was impressed by their sound, and they had a very interactive stage presence. I would say they are more rock than pop, but are kid friendly.
Next was Jordon Sparks--UM HELLO sister rocking those high heels! Man she was all over that stage in those high heels, but she moved like she was bare foot. I had forgotten what an incredible voice she has. She looked amazing in turquoise and again had a great connection with the audience. Jordan--you are a classy lady.
Then it was time for the JoBro's. Of course the stadium went nuts and it was hard to believe that that much sound only came out of 3,000 people. The stage was in the center of the stadium, circular with two runways opposite each other that way they were surrounded (brave boys).
I was hooked from the first song Paranoid. In total they performed for two hours non-stop, with many surprises, effects, and tricks. SPOILERS, SPOILERS--CONTINUE READING AT YOUR OWN RISK. Some of the surprises included a trampoline, water effects (no one in the audience got wet), a video of Joe spoofing Beyonce's "All The Single Ladies" (I laughed so hard at that one), and a joint performance with Jordan Sparks. Plus, Joe and Kevin, living a dream I am sure of being firemen. They were strapped onto a support and lifted over a large section of the audience which they began dousing with a foam substance. FYI--it smelled interesting, but it does not ruin clothes, hair or Coach purses--yep got it!
All 3 boys are talented, but I am most impressed with Nick. Is there anything this 15 year old can not do AND he is a Type 1 Diabetic. He was all over that stage. Not only can he sing, but he plays the guitar, piano, drums and can do a mean flip in the air. You can not slow him down which should be an inspiration to anyone dealing with Type 1 Diabetes. OK, OK--yes he is my favorite! I was having flashbacks of my own behavior in the 80's watching Duran Duran. There was a gaggle of teenage girls behind me screaming "We Love You Nick" all night long---uh yeah--did that a lot myself for Nick Rhodes. Get ready girls you will still do it when you are 38.
If you have the opportunity to check out this concert I say go. You will be entertained from beginning to end. Well off to iTunes I go---and I Love you Nick Rhodes----come on I can't say that about Nick Jonas---he is too young.

Lots o fans in our area. My husband's friend called him yesterday to see if he wanted to take our 5 year old girl because he was taking his 5 year old girl. Thank goodness our Kate is still enamored with the "fictional" Hannah Montana.
Pamela, you never know WHO might show up at that JoBros concert. Miley Cyrus popped out of the stage when my daughter was there. What a treat!
Loved this article! What a terrific writer! By the way, that little Nick is a doll. Yeah, I'm 37! So?
