Going Gray; The Real Deal | October 26, 2009

About 3 years ago I made a decision to stop coloring my hair. It seemed like no big deal at the time.  I mean, it is my hair, right?  People change their hair all of the time without big repercussions, right?  Well, it is NOT SO when you choose to go GRAY!

It so happens that my hair has lots of white and gray in it.  The criticism from family, friends, even strangers, came almost immediately!

Georgia Moon Offers A Wide Array Of Furniture | December 8, 2008

Georgia Terrell opened Georgia Moon in June of 2005 while finishing up classes at a local Community College. She had retired from the job she held at the County of San Luis Obispo where she worked as a clerk for the County garage. I was feeling like I needed to explore my creative side before I got too old, so at the age of 49 I went back to school. I took some interior design classes that I had always been interested in and a great class called Life management that taught me to determine my values and set goals … Read More »

Choosing Color Doesn’t Have To Be Paint ful | November 17, 2008

I love my store.  By that I mean I love my customers.  Or I really mean I love the combination of customers that share their needs so it helps me to shape the direction of the store, as well as hone what I can offer as a decorator/designer/consultant.

One thing we hear repeatedly that is frustrating to customers is paint.  Not painting, physically, but choosing paint & paint color.  It’s universal, it seems.  And I believe you either have the eye for color, or you don’t.  I fall into the latter camp.

The good news is that there is a lot of … Read More »
