Shop Your Closet: Simple Pleasures

I love to have items in my closet that I know are easy to throw on and fun to wear. I recommend having these staples: skinny jeans, an ecru chunky cable knit sweater, a large statement watch and ecru pumps.

I’ve owned these Michael Kors earrings for awhile and grab them quite often when I’m wearing a scarf. I don’t want a big earring when I already have so much going on around my neck. Throw on a coat with this outfit in colder weather and you’re set to go.

You can mix the outfit up with different color scarves depending on your mood. I always choose my outfits based on my mood and this outfit is no exception. It’s all about the simple pleasures….

The wind was blowing like crazy today! I was in the mood for something warm and casual, so I threw on my trusty pink cords and military style boots. I mentioned this outfit in a previous outfit post about Pink Glam Rock. Today I wore some silver bracelets and my Chic Galleria bracelet.

Sorry for the far away photo, but what do you think of the outfit? How would you style pink jeans?

Chic Street Style: Lipstick and Leggings

My daughter is a dancer and when I was introduced to Vickerey, I knew this was the perfect outfit for her. This lipstick red tunic has movement and really flows. Paired with chic capri leggings, this outfit is comfortable and practical for a gal on the go. Loved how Clara was “dancing in the street” with this outfit.

It is looking like bright-colored pants are going to be around for a while longer. This outfit is perfect for a comfortable office day without looking too comfortable. The black and white really help the pants take the spotlight. I also love how the jewelry matches the shoes in every way. Oh, and I love the earrings. They remind me of little airplane propellers! Too cute.

I’m loving the Spring Pantone Caberet trend in handbags, belts, tops and shoes! I would certainly add a pair of these shoes to a chic black dress. They would also be great with a pair of jeans and black blazer. I would recommend only wearing a neutral color with these vibrant shoes.
