With the holidays quickly approaching us, I’m sure we are all preparing for them in our own way and have our own traditions that we like to keep. I have many traditions, being in an Italian family there is always something that is being done, but the one I look forward to every year is baking cookies with my Grandma and Mom!

Inspire Our Grandparent & Seniors | May 6, 2009

For a couple of years we used my grandparents garden space as well as ours. It allowed us to grow far more food to store and freeze for winter. It brought joy to them to see a garden growing in their yard again, after many years of being empty and it made it possible for my kids to develop relationships with their great grandparents.
