LG fashion week – Gaudet | March 30, 2010

Yesterday afternoon marked the preview of “Gaudet” fall/winter collection 2010. Featured in the Allstream venue in Toronto, this show was surely something to see.

In a beautiful opening, there was a tribute made to the fallen Olympic hero and athlete Nodar Kumartishvili – singers and dancers from the athletes home land were performed. They were beautiful and true to the country’s roots.

Shortly after, Gaudet’s show began – what a beautiful show it was!

Toronto Fashion week begins with a Bang! | March 28, 2010

Tonight marked the official beginning of Toronto’s LG fashion week’s, “Power of Style”. Held in the Allstream venue – which is vastly larger than last years location – this year is sure to impress with it’s “Power of Style” theme.

LG Fashion Week Part 3: Lizares | November 10, 2009

As Christie and I ventured through the glamorous week of clothes and accessories, we stumbled upon a relatively new design house, Lizares. Both Christie and I had not seen their runway show before, but were excited to see what this Men’s Ready to Wear collection would entail. Sudbury born designer Brian Maristela is known for the re-invention of the bold male.
