Charity Scavenger Hunt Through NYC: September 24 | August 22, 2011

There’s no better way to experience autumn in New York than by enjoying the crisp outdoors, visiting different neighborhoods, engaging in friendly competition, and helping the community–all at once! On Saturday, September 24, join the AmAsian Race, a four-hour scavenger hunt that will give a nod to a variety of Asian cultures and take each team through numerous Manhattan neighborhoods. Teams will consist of 3-6 members, so gather a group together or enter as an individual and meet new people.

92YTribeca Hosts Broadway’s Catch Me If You Can: June 9 | June 3, 2011

Manhattan’s 92YTribeca will host the cast and creative team of Catch Me If You Can, which debuted on Broadway this past April, on Thursday, June 9 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The musical, based on the 2002 movie of the same name, follows the true story of hugely successful young conman Frank Abagnale Jr. As a teenager, Abagnale conned millions of dollars while pretending to be employed in a variety of professions including doctor, lawyer, and pilot.

The show’s creative team will discuss the production and cast members will perform songs.

Taste of Tribeca 2011: May 21 | May 2, 2011

Taste of Tribeca, Manhattan’s annual food festival, will return on Saturday, May 21. Stroll the streets and sample from neighborhood restaurants including Nobu, Tribeca Grill, and Landmarc. Additionally, some of the nearby wine shops will be offering complimentary tastings.

As always, all proceeds go to the arts and enrichment programs at local public schools PS 150 and PS 234.
