Material Girl Launch at Macy’s Herald Square | August 4, 2010

Material Girl officially launched at Macy’s (online and at 200 stores around the country) on Tuesday, August 3. Macy’s Herald Square had two major events in New York city to celebrate the launch.

The first 200 customers that shopped the collection at Macy’s Herald Square on 8.3.10 received a $10 Macy’s gift card and a free Material Girl bandeau top.

Later that afternoon Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen made a special appearance and live performance. 2010 NYC Vendy Awards: September 25 | May 28, 2010

Tickets are now available for New York City’s sixth annual Vendy Awards, which recognize the best in local street food. At the event, which will take place on September 25 on Governor’s Island, attendees can sample all kinds of grub all day long. Even better: If you buy your ticket by May 31, you will be entered into a lottery to become this year’s Citizen Judge. If you are picked, you will sit with this year’s judges and get to help choose the winner.

Country Music’s Larry Gatlin Premieres New NY Musical | January 15, 2010

Country musician Larry Gatlin will introduce a new musical at Pace University starting January 19. Acted by Pace musical theater students, Quanah follows the life and leadership of Comanche chief Quanah Parker.
