Introducing DIANE by Diane von Furstenberg | October 12, 2011

The new scent DIANE by Diane von Furstenberg is the ultimate accessory, created by a fashion legend.

As part of the Vogue Influencer Network, I was given the opportunity to review the new fragrance DIANE by Diane von Furstenberg. I received a large tube of the DIANE Fragrance Lotion and a sample of the DIANE Eau de Toilette.

Fresh and sensual, DIANE the lotion is the perfect post-shower pick-me-up. With the same a bold mix of soft Frangipani flower and mischievous Violet, all balanced with a sexy twist of myrrh, musk and patchouli, it is feminine, powerful, and seductive.

LypSyl Intense Protection A Must-Have Product | October 18, 2010

Every once in awhile I find a product that becomes an “absolutely must-have in my possession at all times” item.  I discovered Intense Protection Lypmoisturizer by LypSyl and it has become one of these items.  I have never had great luck when it comes to lip products.  In fact, I basically shy away from them.  Countless times I have tired a new lipstick, lip balm or gloss and suddenly I looked like I’d taken a tire pump to my lips.  I have the most sensitive lips on the planet!  They crack, peel, swell, itch….and become just plain unattractive.  I was … Read More »

Back To School Styles with PUMA | August 31, 2010

PUMA has always been my favorite brand of sneaker.  They are my go-to shoe for any situation where I’m having to do a lot of walking.  I’m always comfortable in my PUMA’s because they hug my narrow foot.  I even have PUMA footie socks!

Once I bought a pair of black PUMA’s with white stripes only to find out my daughter had the same pair.  Gasp!  How embarrassing that we might have matching shoes!  Luckily for both of us, I own the same pair in brown and white too.

These new Imani shoes that PUMA sent me to try are amazing.  I … Read More »

Product Review: CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain | February 11, 2010

“The CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain pen looks like a magic marker, but went on my lips like watercolor paint.”

As a Lucky Magazine Alpha Shopper, I have the privilege of working with Conde Nast Publications.  Recently, Lucky’s Beauty Merchandising Expert sent me a new product by CoverGirl called Outlast Lipstain. The CoverGirl website describes Outlast Lipstain as “The water-based colorants of Outlast Lipstain give lips a beautiful, lightweight flush of color that won’t come off, lasting for hours without the heavy look or feel of an ordinary lipstick. Its pen-like precision applicator makes it easy to define your lips-just draw on color … Read More »

Toxic | November 17, 2009

I don’t know about you – but my daily routine involves applying various “lotions and potions” to my face and body multiple times during the day.

There are the cleansers, toners and moisturizers to keep my skin clear; the SPF I apply after wards to protect it, and the makeup to enhance my features. Not only this, but, what also comes into contact with my skin is the soap I use in the shower, the shampoos and conditioners, the body lotion I use after wards, perfumes, deodorants, and the list goes on!

When you really think about it – how many products … Read More »
