Compliments From Fashion Guru Tim Gunn | November 17, 2008
November 9, my business partner (and son) Austin and I flew to New York City to attend the GMHC Fashion Forward 2008 Fundraiser as guests of Jack Mackenroth. After a busy day of shopping in Soho and meeting Jack at Starbucks for coffee, the evening was quite a thrill to say the least.
We arrived at the event fashionably early due to the fact that our hotel was close and I wanted to see the silent auction items before it got too crowded. Jack’s PR representatives Rachi Govil and Michelle Ouellette from Cohn & Wolfe were so gracious and made sure … Read More »

Suede Hosts Alumni Event at KSU | November 5, 2008
Catching up with Suede can be a trick these days with his busy schedule. He managed to drop me at email after getting snowed-in in upstate New York, hosting an alumni event for the Kent State University Fashion Merchandising and Design Satellite Studio and attending the finale of this season’s Project Runway.
On October 9, Suede was able to spend some time with Leon Hall at Kent State. You all know Leon Hall from E! Entertainment Television and Style Network. What I love the most about Leon Hall is he comes from a place of love and does not rip … Read More »

Project Runway‘s Suede Chats With Chic Galleria | September 23, 2008
What a thrill it was to chat recently with Suede from Project Runway Season 5! As you all know, the finale has yet to air. I didn’t ask Suede any questions about the winner, although I wanted desperately to know. He did promise to talk with me again after the show is over. Then we’ll dish in chic style!
Suede, can you share a little bit about yourself and how you got started?
Well, I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. I grew up in suburbia. I went to Amish School during my younger years. No, my family was not Amish, but my … Read More »
