Whoopi Goldberg will discuss her accomplished, wide-ranging career at Manhattan’s 92nd Street Y on Thursday, February 17 at 8:00 p.m. Currently co-host of ABC’s The View, Goldberg has a Grammy, an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, an Emmy, and a Tony under her belt.  She is also a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations and supports a variety of charitable causes.

Actors Studio Drama School Unveils Repertory Season in NYC | March 25, 2009

Pace University’s famed Actors Studio Drama School will introduce its inaugural Repertory Season on Wednesday, April 15, in which its graduating M.F.A. students will present scenes and plays each week. The season, which runs through Saturday, May 9, is free to attend.

The Actors Studio Drama School gets regular international exposure on Bravo’s Inside the Actors Studio, hosted by the School’s Dean Emeritus, James Lipton. Hollywood veterans who have appeared on the show to discuss their careers and advise students include Sir Anthony Hopkins, Martin Scorcese, and Julianne Moore.
