Drink Tea Instead of Diet Drinks

SimplySlim.jpgAre you drinking "diet" beverages yet still can't drop that last 5 lbs?

Fad diets or diet pills sound tempting but they do not lead to real weight loss. At best, they lead to rapid water loss (not fat). At worst, they lead to increased weight gain, a slow metabolism, depression and obesity. Diet products use aspartame so that they can claim that these are good to help you lose weight. The exact opposite is true. When you are eating or drinking diet products using aspartame you are almost assured to gain weight. The sweet taste in your mouth sends a signal to the brain that sugar is coming. The brain in turns tells the liver to stop converting fat to sugar for energy, because fresh sugar is coming. When glucose( sugar) does not show up - the brain sends out the message that it needs sugar to keep functioning. That signal gets interpreted as hunger and off you go to find something to eat.  "Diet" products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. This is why people who drink a lot of diet sodas have bigger hips and thighs. Even worse, this is a big reason why the American population is turning obese and/or suffering from cancers and diabetes.

When you drink one 12 oz can of soda you have to drink 12 - 10 ounce glasses of water to neutralize the acidic effects of that soda in your body. When cells don't get enough of oxygen they need to create energy, they ferment blood sugar ( glucose) for energy instead, and that creates acidity - pH level of the body....At an Alkaline ph balance slightly above 7.6 cancer cells stop growing and replicating. At pH 8.5 cancer cells die.

I recommend incorporating tea into your diet to help with weight loss. Tea contains caffeine, flavanols, polyphenols, vitamins and other substances that promote fat oxidation, which helps remove excess body fat, therefore, the more you drink tea the slimmer you get!

1.    ONO Simply Slim and Slimming Goddess- Polyphenols found in Black and Oolong tea work as a fat destroying enzyme. The compound helps destroy fat and boost your metabolism. The polyphenols also help defy aging by battling free radicals - unstable forms of oxygen that damage cell function. In 2006, new research in Michigan, at the Northwestern University Bio Med Department, scientific evidence was presented that suggests that Oolong Tea lowers the amount of blood lipids, causing the slimming effect.

2.    ONO Slim it Sencha- Green tea is particularly rich in a type of polyphenol called catechins. These substances have also been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties, but recent research in animals show that catechins may also decrease fat absorption, increase fat excretion, suppress appetite, and decrease cholesterol levels.

Recommendation: Control your calorie intake and increase the number of calories you burn through exercise.  It is also very important to eat three nutritious meals a day to enhance your metabolism. Before each meal, have 2 cups of ONO Slimming Tea. If you skip meals, your metabolism slows, and this means that your body's adjusting itself into starvation mode, and making your calories stretch. This is dangerous if you're trying to lose weight. When you're feeling hungry, just make yourself a cup of an ONO slimming tea. This will help suppress your appetite until you are ready for your next healthy meal.

Although these types of teas may help, always follow the advice of your healthcare professional.

I am so glad to see this. So many people do not realize that most weight loss gimmicks that seem too good to be true most of the time are. The weight loss industry is an few billion dollar industry because it feeds off of the poor body images men and women feel and it makes them believe that they NEED whatever product is out there. All along they don't realize that what they really need is right under their nose and not in the "weight loss" aisle because it all has to do with what you intake, what you burn off, and staying healthy.

Very good article. I'm tea's lover and start my day by drinking hot tea. That is great, beneficial treat for Health and Beauty.

Great article Phuong. To bad so many people will never lose their fat no matter what diet program they jump to. Body store toxins in fat cells and protect itself from acidity with build up of fat. Many people don't ever cleanse and they don't drink enough water. Hydrate your body with alkaline / Kangen water and you will lose fat soon

Just one more great article about the dangers of aspartame and diet drinks....if only more persons truly understood what they are doing to their bodies with all of this "fake sugar!"

I am a caffeine addict. I typically have a 16 oz. coffee a day, with at least 2 Diet Pepsi's or Diet Coke's in the afternoon. Looks like I need to have jugs of water at my desk and/or sort of slow it down, eh? Yikes!

The most inspiring article to promote tea into our diets. Asians tend to have less problems with cholesterols and indigestions and many others.....

Congratuldations to the Founder , Phuong Le.

Elana~step away from those drinks. It's all about the tea sweetie. I'm slowly weaning myself off coffee and onto tea. Phuong will hook you up with exactly what you need.

Elana - Oh boy....too much caffeine AND diet drinks. My next article is going to be for you. Here is a sneak peak:

Caffeine is good in small amounts. It improves your memory, increase energy, improves alertness, BUT we live in an over- caffeinated society. People are setting themselves up for health problems such as obesity and diabetes. Too much caffeine has been shown to raise blood pressure, blood sugar, decrease bone density, reduce birth weight, and raise the risk of miscarriage.

If you need some suggestions, email me. I'll set you up with a nice package. phuong@iLoveONO.com

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good sounding article does not equate with accurate. I'm from India where we calculate without calculators, and thankfully US law requires caloric content to be mentioned on containers. Artificially sweetened stuff might keep you hungry for real carbs, but you can always count, can't you?
