Fast cars, rock music, beauty and brains. Quite a combination and Heather Williams has it all. Does this woman have time to sleep?Heather, can you share a little bit about your profession and how you got started?
Which profession? haha! Race Car driving, X Games, Acting, Real Estate, Music, TV Hosting, NHRA Drag Racing, and Modeling. The past couple of months I have been racing cars in the ARCA series which is step under NASCAR and recording my first rock album in Nashville. Of all the different things I do I didn't grow up doing them or have years of experience. The motorsports opportunities I have had have all been somewhat easy to transition between. Now with guitar and music that is a whole different field. I got started with it when I decided I was going to buy a guitar and amp and learn to play. From there it has been an addiction with me.
Where do you draw inspiration for your music?
I love 70's and 80's rock music. I wish I would have been a teenager during those eras. I really love 80's rock -AC/DC, VAN HALEN!!!! Neal Schon, Ted Nugent, Def Leppard, P!nk, Bon Jovi, Steve Lukather, SRV, Madonna, KISS, Aerosmith, Lita Ford, Whitesnake, Dragon Force, GNR, David Lee Roth, Green Day, Chris Daughtry, Rolling Stone, Dokken, Linkin Park, The Police, U2, The Who, Pink Floyd, Rush, Prince, Queen, Beatles, Metallica, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Judas Priest, Foo Fighters, Journey, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, Goo Goo Dolls, the Police, Jeff Beck, Poison, Elton John, Nickelback, Blink 182, Led Zeppelin, BB King, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Extreme, Ozzy, Velvet Revolver, DIO, Fergie, Deep Purple, Santana, Freddie King and Iron Maiden, etc. So many others as well!
What is your most favorite event in racing?
I really like motocross racing, but racing cars is a great deal safer, you can make more money and a blast doing it.
What are your future plans for your music and racing?
Racing cars is has a great deal to do with funding and my ultimate goal would be to run the complete NASCAR series.
As for music, my ultimate goal would be to tour the world playing my rockin' tunes. I love to entertain and work hard and I would love the busy schedule.
