Rihanna Sets Trends with Fashion and Music Hits

Rihanna.jpgMy boyfriend recently gave me the surprise gift of Rihanna's CD "Good Girl Gone Bad." (Yes, to answer your probable question: Good Girl Gone Shopping was sort of a spin-off of this phrase.) And let me tell you, more than half of Rihanna's songs were #1 hits. Amazing! So far, I have played the album in its entirety during social gatherings at home, while I am in the kitchen cooking and doing dishes, and of course, in the car; the "Shut Up and Drive" song gives me an incredible rush!

I stick by gut philosophy that it is her edgy, sophisticated makeover and various takes on the pixie cut that has catapulted her as a trendsetting songtress. Of course, her beautiful voice and great lyrics do play a major role in the sound of this CD.

As for this exclusive Buzzfoto.com image, I love this simple, nautical-ish, sleek look that she is sporting here. While I don't really see where the style and print of the bag fits in - that's probably the point. You know, throw in the unexpected piece for a unique quality. (However, I would have loved to see a bold yellow or gold bag with this outfit.) The skinny jean, heels, red glasses, big hoops - it's just a fresh casual look that is also perfect to take you from day into evening.  Kudos to her beauty and fashion stylists as well!
Please don't stop the music.
