Helen, can you share a little bit about your business and how you got started?
Simply Savvy is a distribution company devoted to designing for women. Our mission is to: "Design to Enhance the Quality of Life for Women by Promoting Elegance, Class and Sexiness in their Everyday Life and Work Experiences." Our vision for the company is to focus on the joy that can be brought to women. By realizing the value of feeling beautiful, confident and sexy at all times, We tactfully implement timeless and luxurious design concepts into each and every apron. Each style is also given a unique name and distinctive personality. This is done so to compliment the individuality of different women. This would support each woman in realizing that they are unique, yet beautiful.
Helen started by designing aprons for her personal use. As an artist she wanted something stylish yet functional for her respective art projects. As her aprons became more exposed, she had requests for her aprons. From this point, here aprons expanded into a business.
Where do you draw inspiration for your products?
I am inspired by every day classic design elements that have repeated throughout history. I gather these ideas and implement them with my own creativity to design timeless aprons.
Our best selling Apron is titled "Simply Sweet" This apron is representative of the traditional girl next door look. Most of our customers choose this design because they are able to relate to what this design depicts. My favorite experience with this business is see women try on my aprons, then they look in the mirror and you see this glowing smile on their face.
What are your future plans?
Our future plans are to design other unique novelty items that contribute to our mission. As we gain more support for our vision from other women, we will manage to introduce more products that will enhance the quality of life for women.
