On Monday, November 10, I will be attending the launch of Living Positive By Design, HIV And AIDS Education Initiative, at the GMHC Fashion Forward 2008 Fundraiser in New York City. Jack Mackenroth is nationally debuting this HIV and AIDS education campaign at this event and will unveil a signature campaign scarf and address attendees regarding the Living Positive By Design campaign. The Living Positive By Design campaign, a sponsor of Fashion Forward, seeks to help combat the stigma associated with HIV by engaging people in thoughtful conversation about the condition and is being supported by Merck & Co., Inc.
GMHC Fashion Forward event is being held at Skylight Studios with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a fashion show. Runway Designers include Michael Bastian, Tim Hamilton, Betsey Johnson, Charles Nolan, Ports 1961 by Tia Cibani and John Varvatos. Sponsors include Diane von Furstenberg and Michael Kors.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with Jack before the event to hear more about his amazing project and attending Fashion Forward representing Chic Galleria.com that evening.
