Megan's background is in commercial interior design with a small obsession with Art History. In 2001 she picked up her first set of needles and in 2003 she started showing my pieces at local craft shows. In 2005 she created a website for my knits - It became a wonderful outlet for her work and she decided to expand my business to include other people's creative pieces. Megan wanted to create a place that would showcase fabulous gifts, with the ease and luxury of shopping from your home. In 2007 Kiss My Style was born.
"I have always been a crafter. Since my mom put the first pack of crayons in my hand, the bug bit and the effect was lifelong. Inspiration comes from color, fiber, fabric, the outdoors, family, friends...the list goes on and on. I love to look at something and think about how I can design it into what I imagine," says Megan.
Professionally, I would like KissMyStyle.com to become so successful that I can focus strictly on it. I would love to become a top 5 place to shop for handmade pieces - and I would love to increase my number of artists that sell on KMS into the thousand's! Eventually a brick and mortar shop is the ultimate goal.
