Becky Larson and her husband learned the Swahili word "Kazana" during their travels in Kenya and Uganda. It means "to busy oneself" and "to make a home". Such a talent! I really like the princess and the pea, but I think the wedding up, up and away is gorgeous too and would make a lovely and unique wedding gift!
What fun artwork -- it just makes you smile and it evokes happy memories from various parts of life. I have three favorites (three is such a nice number)...the wedding balloon captures just what a wedding should be, the plate spinner is quite a commentary on all the things women try to juggle in our lives, and the cookies Christmas illustration just seems warmly evocative. What a fun site to visit!

I deal in realism, and it is so refreshing to see happy, whimsical creations come from your imagination... it's so different than what I do, but very inspiring to see what you invent from seemingly small, insignificant items--pipe cleaners? To the non-crafty, they are for cleaning pipes...you make them into feminine females!!! Creativity to the max!!!!
I like the twinkle toes card where the ballerina is dancing on top of a cupcake. I LOVE cupcakes so this card is just perfect, but all of the cards are lovely!
