Rebecca's latest thriller, The Acronym, is due for release March 27th, 2009. Currently she is working on her first collection of poetry which will be available in December of 2009.

With her husband, Troy, a professional rodeo entertainer, Rebecca has traveled all over the United States and the impressions she gathered during their journey inspired her to write a memoir. Becoming American is planned for release in 2010. Rebecca resides on her horse farm near the Wasatch Mountains in Utah.

An excerpt from The Acronym:

"Where does a federal witness turn if even one of the most clandestine agencies can't protect you from harm?"

"That is precisely the horrific dilemma facing Mia Trentino. Scheduled as a witness for the prosecution, Mia returns to Russia to testify against a man whose affiliation with the Russian Mafia led to her terrifying abduction less than a year before."

"During her testimony, Mia's safety is entrusted with the members of the Acronym, a covert agency consisting of former FBI, CIA, and international law enforcements agents. Their primary tasks are the war against international crime and espionage and assisting federal agencies with securing their high-profile witnesses in a special protection program."

bechead.jpg"When Mia arrives is St. Petersburg to take the stand, her fiancé and Acronym agent, Douglas Farland, disappears without a trace and is accused of treason."

"With only limited protection, Mia suddenly finds herself trying to negotiate a deadly double-task; can she elude the merciless pursuits of the Russian Mafia in time to find out the truth about Douglas, or will they succeed in silencing her by any ruthless means they can find...?"

Rebecca will be featured on Rita Schiano's Blog Talk Radio Show on April 21th, 2009, TODAY. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/rita/2009/04/22/Talk-To-MeConversations-With-Creative-Unconventional-People

The only thing I have to say about The Acronym is: Ding! Ding! Ding! Folks, we have a winner!!!

I am SURE, POSITIVE, CONVINCED that The Acronym will be a breakthrough novel for Rebecca Lerwill. It has everything it takes to become a bestseller - good writing, memorable characters, a solid story and TONS OF ACTION AND FUN!!!

You'll meet Mia Trentino, the sexy, beautiful, vulnerable girl that an evil Russian mafia kingpin named Sergei Selkin wants dead. Selkin will stop at nothing to prevent her from testifying against an affiliate that was responsible for her abduction. And, psssst … he carries a knife!! Then there’s Mia’s devilishly handsome boyfriend Douglas Farland. You just know he’s the kind of man that would take a bullet for the woman he loves. Of course, with his reflexes he’d probably catch it in his teeth! Then there’s Ludvika, the femme fatale Russian smorgasbord of an agent! When she’s on the job, she’s as cold and calculating as a Siberian winter, but man, does she clean-up good! Then there’s the dependable, true blue Brian Secona. He’s the one with the sign in his window that says, “Forget about the pit bull – you better worry about me!” And there’s a new guy, Uwe Hirsch, a German hunky-poo with a bod that goes on for days! The Acronym must pay these guys by the ounce!!!

The action? Ms. Lerwill must have been riding in a luge when she wrote this because the action just doesn't stop! It'll be all you can do to keep up with it!!! Plus isn't it kind of nice to be one of the first to discover an new author before they become a household name? Ms. Lerwill is destined to become one with this offering so hop on board and enjoy a ride taken at breakneck speed!!

Ms. Lerwill – Kudos, Spasiba and Skol!!!!

I've read both of Rebecca's books and highly recommend them to any who enjoys a reader's thrill ride, spies, international intrigue, and dangerous escapades!

I've read Rebecca's first thriller, Relocating Mia, and loved the characters and the setting as well as the non stop action. I look forward to reading The Acronym.

I have read 1/3rd of Relocating Mia - I'm enjoying it very much, and I've got The Acronym on my TBR list.

I've read Ms. Lerwill's "Relocating Mia" and loved it. My husband loved it as well. Both of us are looking forward to reading "The Acronym." Ms. Lerwill is a highly talented author and is highly recommended!!!

Rebecca Lerwill latest novel, The Acronym, a sequeil to Relocating Mia, is loaded with suspense and foreign intrigue.
The Acronym team rises above the CIA to carry out missions beyond any that've been contrived in the real world of covert activity. Perhaps the author has been there and done all of that...seems very likely. Lerwill knows too much about the technology involved in fighting terrorism and she writes about all that with an expertise that keeps the reader spellbound from begining to end.

It's a book for mother and father to enjoy as gifts on their up coming days. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
