I am quite open-minded when it comes to challenging fashion "rules" and creatively styling fun pieces with basics. So I am never shocked with Gwen Stefani, my music and fashion role model, making it on lists that denounce her judgment calls, questioning her so-called "misses." I am also never surprised when this same celeb makes it to certain trendsetter lists and appears in lovely designs that showcase her personality.

Both categories that Gwen seems to straddle with nonchalance are kudos to her style. Either she is criticized for her poor choice of fashion sense, which proves her daring and confidence in the world of celebrity, or is praised for her jackpot outfits - proving the exact same thing!
