Elizabeth Jane Van Amelsvoort, Canadian Author of Children's, young adult, adult fiction books and Poetry was born and raised in London Ontario Canada, where she currently resides with her nine children. As a child growing up, Elizabeth always had a true passion for writing. Whether it was letter to one of her many pen pals, a poem or short story, Elizabeth would spend many hours writing, and jotting down story ideas.

The incomparable Elizabeth Jane Van Amelsvoort will steal your heart. She captivates the reader with her artistic ability to paint her story and characters with imagination, vitality, and pure magic. Few writers can convey the style and bridge to cross over that Elizabeth uses to paint a beautiful picture for young adults, adults fiction, and riveting poetry. Her dream came to pass as she recently became an Author/Screenwriter. In 1993, Elizabeth first break came when she began writing her young adult, children's and adult fiction books. Her first release "The Crystal Step" came out first in electronic format.  Then became a part of series and was released in paper back in 2003.

Aside from writing books, Elizabeth has a great love for animals and nature. She has completed courses in Animal sciences and Forestry wildlife conservation and is a supporter of the Canadian wildlife foundation, other forestry and wildlife foundations, Habitat for humanity and other charitable organizations. ONE VOICE- A Collection of Poetry launch date June 1, 2009. "This is a collection of poetry I have written over the past l year. Most written from personal experiences and or experiences I have some how been a part of in my life. I hope that my poetry is something many people can relate to and will enjoy", says Elizabeth. "People keep asking me why I chose the title "One Voice" for my poetry book. All the poems in the book in from experiences I've had in my own life or been involved in with people close to me so I called it "One Voice" because the poems are basically one person speaking out through Poetry."
