Spirited Style Launches New Website & New Designs

Spirited Style has launched new website with a focus on handbags and accessories. Handbags are still made in small batches for those who want an alternative to the big mass-produced brands. Distribution via select retail outlets begins. The best is yet to come!!!  As you look through this site you'll see that the love of bold colors and textures and wonderful combinations of fabrics, trims and embellishments. Each patchwork handbag is made using multiple fabrics and trims. The mod flower prints of the 60s and 70s and wild abstract designs of the 80s often influence my designs.

Founder and designer, Kristin Elliott "The Queen of Patchwork" grew up in the Chicago area and long ago developed a love of fashion. Kristin went to design school and learned the ins and outs of clothing design and sample production working in the sample room of a dress manufacturing company. She also worked in retail fashion and taught fashion design. All along the way, she was always tinkering with fabrics and other materials and creating her own designs. She began selling them at local art fairs and on the Internet. One thing led to another, and Kristin slowly started getting orders from all over the United States and eventually from many other countries as well. Kristin is married and has a beautiful little girl who loves to help mom in her design studio.
