Allison Parris Spring 2010 Collection

Ap5.jpgAllison Parris Spring 2010 collection was full of her signature feminine and sophisticated looks incorporating beautiful bead work, leather dresses, full skirts and great belted details.  The 40's inspired soft vintage styles mixed perfectly with high end modern fabrics.

ap8.jpgThe collection is reminiscent of the qualities used to make garments sustainable in that time period as well including boned bodices, horsehair hems and custom hardware. A great part about this line is the eco-chic factor. The line uses sustainable, organic and/or repurposed fabrics without sacrificing style. The line also uses recycled PET satin, made from recycled soda bottles, to line many of its pieces.

AP1.jpgMy ultimate fav was the leather dress, I just have to have it.  Not to mention the show also brought a popular NYC crowd including Tia Walker, Jen Marden, and New York Housewife Alex McCord.  I wonder what piece they will be picking up?
