Yiftee (yiftee.com), an exciting new mobile app, provides gifts for your friends, family, and colleagues and allows the recipients to shop, dine, and spend in new ways! Recently, I downloaded the Yiftee app, and with just a quick touch of a button, I easily redeemed my Old Navy gift inside! Here’s an introduction to what I tried on in the dressing room, with the encouragement of Yiftee to get my shopping on:
About Yiftee: Yiftee lets consumers and businesses send thoughtful, unexpected gifts directly via email, mobile, and social networks. Recipients pick up their Yiftee gifts using their smart phones at their favorite local restaurants and shops, driving profitable business to those merchants. Merchants gain additional sales, foot traffic, an eGifting capability like the big retailers, and a free mobile/web sales channel.
For beauty-loving friends and family that are far away - now it’s easy to send a gift for a spa, beauty product or manicure/pedicure that benefits the recipient’s local shops. Yiftee gifts can be big or small ($5-$200) and are great “thinking of you” gift ideas.
My Yiftee Shopping Experience: I truly enjoyed my shopping experience with Yiftee. In fact, I managed to leave Old Navy with FOUR amazing new items to add into my wardrobe instead of just one (as you can see above!). While my Yiftee gift was $15, I did not mind spending over the limit, as I debated between four options and eventually gave in to them all. While I hadn’t shopped at Old Navy for years, going back allowed me to remember the fantastic deals I could snag for great seasonal/spring pieces. I purchased the following on sale: 2 thin long-sleeve tops($9.49 each!) - one is blue & floral, and the other is red & nautical. See pictures below! (As you can tell, one day was rainy & cooler than the other, but being nautical didn’t stop me from enjoying my outfit!)
To go along with my blue top, I found a matching blazer that I couldn’t resist having (on sale, $21.99)! (I wear the top and the blazer for separate outfits so that I’m not too matchy-matchy.) This is my first blazer that acts more like a statement piece, rather than a regular blazer in a singular color. Also a wonderful perk: the blazer is made of stretchable fabric, meaning it is free of wrinkles and ironing! Lastly, besides these spring clothes, I bought a basic, black dress that fits me just perfectly for any occasion and any season (on sale, $10.49). I was so happy and pleased with the fit, the appropriate length for a work environment, and the cute flare at the bottom - LBD at its finest. Thanks to Yiftee, I was able to rejuvenate my past memories of shopping at Old Navy and remind myself that I can continue to shop there now and into the future! But more importantly, I look forward to browsing the app for gifts that I can send to friends and family, whether beauty, dining, or shopping-related. Yiftee makes it easy!
